Shipping Policy

How Your Order is Shipped

Products that are shipped boxed, such as Scooters and Bikes are sent 90% Assembled and may require professional assembly before use. If you are not confident in assembling your product safely please visit a local scooter/ bike store to assemble at your cost. Incorrect assembly or damage caused  will void the warranty. If you wish to pick up fully assembled and checked items please contact us prior to your visit and check stock and assembly times. All Scooters are checked before shipping, larger items such as bikes have been assembled and checked by the factory before shipping to us as part of their Quality Assurance, we cannot check the product completely due to packaging and we cannot warrant the product if shipped boxed.

 

Shipping Times

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee shipping times as a third party provides this service and transit times can vary. We use both Freight/Courier companies and Australia Post and endeavor for you to receive your order by the best available service.

Express Service

If paying for the express service we will pick and pack your order on the day of your order and if possible ship via the fastest option on the day of your order. However we cannot guarantee the courier will pickup the order the same day. We cannot guarantee any shipping times with this service as a third party is providing the service.

Due to ongoing Shipping cost changes and cost escalation, bulky and/or multiple items or orders  to regional areas outside normal postage/courier areas will need to be quoted separately. The price quoted at time of checkout for these type of shipments may not be accurate and we will contact you prior to shipping your order with any additional charges. You can contact us prior to your order for shipping quotes for these type of shipments.

 

Missed Deliveries

We recommend to ship to an attended address, if you are unable to do so please provide a business address where the items can be delivered as our services are Signature on Delivery and no items will be left at doorsteps, so any missed deliveries will incur additional fees as charged by the shipping company + a 10% handling fee.

 

Shipping Insurance

We cannot offer shipping insurance other than that is offered by our shipping companies, which in most cases is limited $1000. Any lost, missing or damages caused to freight during the delivery process we cannot be liable for, so this is your sole responsibility.

 

P.O Boxes & Parcel Lockers 

Due to the bulky sizes of our products, we cannot deliver to P.O Boxes or Parcel Lockboxes

 

Return Shipping

Please note that return shipping costs are at your cost. For returns contact up or read more on our Returns & Warranty . 

Pickup

If you wish to pick up your items, please contact us and arrange a time - Wednesdays 9am-12pm Only (excluding Public Holidays)

Return & Exchange Policy

Returns Policy

We want you to be totally satisfied with our products.Please return the product for our review. We do not cover shipping/buyer damage or minor defects such as scratches and marks.

You can choose a refund or exchange if an item is considered to have a major problem by us.

This is when the item:

  • has a major problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it

  •  is unsafe due to a major problem and not due to the nature of the product

  •  is significantly different from the sample or description

  •  If the problem is considered not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it cannot be repaired in a reasonable time we can choose to refund or send a replacement.

  • Please keep your proof of purchase —e.g. your receipt.

  • Returned items must be sent in original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation

  • Return shipping is at the purchasers cost

 

Change of Mind

Changed your mind about your online purchase? At Potent Pig we want you to be happy with your purchase.  If you contact us and return the item within 7 days of your purchase, you can arrange for it to be returned for an exchange or credit. There are some simple requirements around this offer, which are:

 

  • We can only provide an exchange or credit for your online purchase once, so please choose your replacement item carefully;

  • You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your product to organise a return for change of mind and return within 7 Days;

  • The item purchased must be, in its original box and have all its parts, accessories, as well as any bonus/special offer items that were provided with the product;

  • We are happy to arrange the return of the item, or you can if you would prefer. Either way, please get in touch with us to arrange the return of the item;

  • If the product(s) was a special order, ie painted it will not be eligible for return or credit for change of mind; and

  • A restocking fee of 25% of the GST inclusive purchase price of the item will apply to the return. The restocking fee will be deducted from the amount credited to you in relation to the return

  • Return shipping is at the purchasers cost

Cancelling Orders

Items already shipped are not reversible, and must then be returned for a refund (please see the “Refunds” section below). Please note that the cost of this return has to be paid by the customer.

Refunds

Processed refunds are completed within 10 business days. Refunds will be issued based on your original form of payment (PayPal, credit card, debit card, etc.)

For returned items, a full refund will be credited for defective products. For non-defective items, refund excludes all shipping and handling fees.
